Annotatsiya

Chronic hyperplastic laryngitis (CHL) is a persistent inflammatory condition of the laryngeal mucosa characterized by epithelial hyperplasia, thickening of the vocal folds, and potential precancerous changes. Early and accurate diagnosis is essential to prevent malignant transformation and preserve vocal function. Traditional diagnostic methods are often insufficient to detect subtle mucosal alterations and early dysplastic changes. Therefore, modern diagnostic techniques have been developed to improve diagnostic accuracy and clinical outcomes. This article reviews contemporary diagnostic approaches to chronic hyperplastic laryngitis, including videolaryngoscopy, videostroboscopy, narrow band imaging (NBI), contact endoscopy, optical coherence tomography (OCT), autofluorescence imaging, and histopathological evaluation. The advantages, limitations, and clinical relevance of each method are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the importance of multimodal diagnostic strategies for early detection, risk stratification, and individualized patient management.
