Annotatsiya

The thyroid gland is one of the important endocrine glands of the body and plays a key role in the regulation of metabolism, energy production and many physiological processes. It produces hormones such as thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), which control the growth, development and metabolism of cells. Dysfunction of the thyroid gland can lead to various pathologies in the body - hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Basedov's disease. Therefore, to ensure the healthy functioning of this gland, proper nutrition, maintenance of iodine balance and regular medical examinations are important.
