Annotatsiya

The zone of interblock movements is a significant independent area of irreversible deformations during blasting operations, defining the boundaries of structural weakening of arrays, where its deformation characteristics change significantly. This article provides information on the nature of the mechanism of interblock explosive movements and the improvement of methods for predictive and analytical assessment of the size of a technologically significant zone of their distribution is of great interest in profiling steep slopes of mining and construction pits, sides of deep quarries, delineation of underground workings, as well as in a number of other cases. Taking into account the natural fracturing of rock formations and their block structure, it seems advisable to supplement the existing schematization of zones of explosive rock destruction with a zone of residual interblock movements, which reduces the stability of the massif, and to account for outcrops and the resistance to rock destruction along the bottom of the ledge. The zone of interblock movements is a very significant independent area of irreversible deformations during blasting operations, defining the boundaries of structural weakening of massifs in which its deformation characteristics and permeability, including the filtration coefficient, change significantly, which must be taken into account in a number of cases when developing natural stone deposits, stabilizing the sides of deep quarries and shaping the slopes of profile recesses in energy transport and civil engineering.
