This paper describes the possibility of forming nanofibers from Bombyx mori chitosan and high-molecular-weight crab chitosan (HMWCh) by electrospinning. The structural characteristics of nanostructured Bombyx mori chitosan and crab chitosan are studied by XRD and IR spectroscopy. The possibilities of forming nanofibers and nanoparticles in a solvent are evaluated.
