Annotatsiya

The plans for massive integration of renewable energy sources in country-specific power systems within the Central Asian Power System (CAPS) pose the research challenge of balancing generation and consumption of electric power and capacity. Intermittent nature of renewable energy output could seriously affect CAPS stability. This study considers modern systems of energy storage as a solution to address unresolved capacity imbalances and ensure the stable power supply to consumers. We also highlight the types of energy storage that are best suited for the geographical area. Finally, this study outlines how to eliminate capacity shortages by integrating renewables into the system.
