This article examines the methodological foundations for the effective use of digital educational technologies in the formation of economic education among primary school students. The increasing role of digitalization in education has significantly influenced students’ economic literacy, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. The study is based on competence-based, learner-centered, and activity-based approaches, which are widely recognized in modern pedagogy. The findings show that digital tools, including simulations, gamification, and multimedia platforms, enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of teacher digital competence and institutional support for the successful implementation of digital technologies.
