This article analyzes the problem of tradition and continuity in the development ofscience from a philosophical and epistemological perspective, focusing on the memoir-scientificwork of Academician To‘ra Mirzayev, “Teachers, Colleagues, Followers”. The study highlightssuch issues as the formation of scientific schools, spiritual responsibility in the relationship between teacher and student, the philosophy of preserving scientific knowledge, the significance of“invisible labor”, as well as the integration of Uzbek folkloristics into world science. The researchsubstantiates that scientific continuity is not merely the transmission of knowledge and theories,but the product of moral courage, scientific conscience, and dedication. Рассматриваются вопросы формирования научных школ, духовной ответственности в отношениях между учителем и учеником, а также интеграции узбекской фольклористики в мировую науку.
