This article analyzes the development of prognostic competence through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process. In the modern education system, digital technologies help students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate future situations. The study examines the concept of prognostic competence, its structural components, and methods for developing it using ICT. Additionally, the importance of interactive methods, modeling, and simulation technologies is emphasized. The results show that the effective use of ICT not only improves the quality of education but also enhances students’ independent thinking and forecasting abilities.
