ENHANCING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INTEGRATED THERAPEUTIC AND PREVENTIVE STRATEGIES FOR ORAL DISEASES IN PATIENTS WITH SYSTEMIC CHRONIC DIFFUSE LIVER PATHOLOGY
Annotatsiya
This study is dedicated to evaluating the dental status and enhancing the treatment effectiveness of oral cavity diseases in patients with chronic diffuse liver diseases (CDLD). The study involved 94 patients categorized into groups of liver fibrosis, chronic hepatitis, and liver cirrhosis. Participants were treated using two approaches: conventional dental treatment and a developed complex therapy consisting of the herbal preparation "Rotokan," Vitamin C electrophoresis, and UHF therapy. The findings revealed that as liver pathology progresses, dental indices (GI, PMA, DMF) significantly deteriorate. In the complex treatment group, periodontal inflammation reduced twice as effectively as in the traditional group, tooth enamel resistance increased, and caries intensity stabilized. The study scientifically substantiates that a multidisciplinary approach incorporating physiotherapeutic procedures and herbal extracts provides high pathogenetic efficiency in restoring oral health for patients with CDLD. These results emphasize the importance of specialized dental protocols in managing patients with systemic hepatic disorders.
