Attempts to Develop the Latin Alphabet in the 1920s

The article discusses the attempts of linguists, reflected in the press of the 1920s, to develop the Latin alphabet. It presents not only the views of linguists, but also those of school teachers, representatives of other fields interested in language, as well as state officials regarding the alphabet.
