This study investigates the pedagogical potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in the individualization of English language teaching within higher education contexts. The research focuses on the integration of AI-powered technologies, including adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring platforms, and conversational chatbots, to personalize instructional content and learning trajectories according to students’ linguistic proficiency, cognitive needs, and learning preferences. The article examines how AI-supported educational environments contribute to the development of communicative competence, learner autonomy, critical thinking, and academic engagement in English language classrooms. Furthermore, the study analyzes both the opportunities and challenges associated with implementing AI technologies in foreign language education, particularly in terms of pedagogical effectiveness, ethical considerations, and digital literacy. The findings suggest that the integration of artificial intelligence into English language instruction significantly enhances the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of personalized learning processes in higher education institutions.
