DEVELOPING LISTENING COMPREHENSION SKILLS THROUGH MODERN TECHNICAL TOOLS AND INTERACTIVE PLATFORMS

This article analyzes the role and importance of modern technical tools and interactive platforms in developing listening comprehension skills. The possibilities of audio and video players, subtitles and transcripts, voice recording tools, and LMS platforms in the listening process are highlighted. In addition, the effectiveness of interactive platforms such as BBC Learning English, TED-Ed, ESL Lab, LyricsTraining, FluentU, VoiceTube, Quizlet, Kahoot!, Quizizz, and Edpuzzle in the educational process is discussed. The article also examines the advantages of AI-based platforms such as Gliglish and ELSA Speak in improving pronunciation and listening comprehension skills. It is argued that the methodologically correct integration of these tools and platforms into English language teaching contributes to the development of students’ independent learning, motivation, and communicative competence.
