STANDARDIZATION OF MRI AND CT MORPHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT OF BRAIN STRUCTURES IN SPACE-OCCUPYING LESIONS
Annotatsiya
The article presents the results of the development and standardization of MRI- and CT-based morphometric assessment methods for brain structures in space-occupying lesions. Morphometric parameters of the brain were analyzed using magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography data. The sizes and spatial relationships of brain structures, the degree of midline shift, changes in the ventricular system, and the severity of compression effects on surrounding tissues caused by the pathological process were evaluated. The developed methodology allows standardization of morphometric analysis, increases the objectivity of neuroimaging data interpretation, and improves the diagnostic accuracy of intracranial space-occupying lesions. The obtained results confirm the high diagnostic value of the combined use of MRI and CT morphometry in detecting and assessing the severity of pathological changes in the brain.
