DEVELOPMENT OF AN MRI AND CT MORPHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT ALGORITHM FOR BRAIN STRUCTURES TO DETECT AND QUANTITATIVELY CHARACTERIZE SPACE-OCCUPYING LESIONS
Annotatsiya
The article presents the results of developing an MRI- and CT-based morphometric assessment algorithm for brain structures aimed at detecting and quantitatively characterizing space-occupying lesions. Morphometric parameters of the brain in patients with various intracranial volumetric processes were analyzed using magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography data. The sizes and spatial relationships of brain structures, the degree of midline shift, changes in the ventricular system, as well as the localization and extent of pathological processes were evaluated. The developed algorithm improves the accuracy of imaging diagnostics, provides objective assessment of morphological changes, and enhances the early detection of intracranial space-occupying lesions. The obtained results demonstrate the high diagnostic value of the combined application of MRI and CT morphometry in identifying and assessing the severity of pathological changes in the brain.
