Annotatsiya

This thesis-style article examines migration as a complex socio-demographic process shaped by globalization, labour-market asymmetries, demographic pressure, and the search for improved life opportunities. The article does not treat migration merely as the territorial movement of people; rather, it interprets it as a multi-dimensional social transformation involving changes in economic status, family relations, legal culture, professional identity, and intercultural interaction. On the basis of a systematic review of theoretical approaches and previously published studies, the paper identifies the main positive and negative consequences of migration for migrants, families, sending communities, and receiving societies. Particular attention is paid to labour migration, language and legal barriers, social isolation, stereotypes, family separation, and the need for reintegration after return.
