This article analyzes methods for improving the physical fitness of school students by organizing athletics clubs in secondary schools. During the study, the positive effects of athletics exercises on the organism of school-aged children and the laws of developing their motor skills (speed, endurance, strength, and agility) were examined. In addition, the effective planning of extracurricular club activities, the distribution of physical loads, and the efficiency of innovative pedagogical methods were highlighted. The research findings are of great importance for promoting a healthy lifestyle among school students and improving their physical development indicators.
