This article analyzes the ethno-genetic significance of gender equality as a factor in the formation of modern Turkic poetry. The study covers the historical status of women in Turkic peoples, gender policy in the twentieth century, and the manifestation of female subjectivity in contemporary poetry. It also shows the interaction of the gender equality factor with other ethno-genetic factors such as language, religious-mythological values, and national kinship.
