This article studies the kinematic analysis of a slider mechanism based on the graph-analytical method. Velocity diagrams were constructed for the main links of the mechanism, and the linear velocities of points as well as the relative motion parameters of the links were determined. During the research, the geometric and kinematic relationships of the crank-slider mechanism were analyzed, and the stages of constructing the velocity diagram were consistently described. Using the graph-analytical method, the possibility of determining the velocity parameters of the mechanism in different positions was demonstrated. The research results can be effectively applied in the teaching of mechanism theory, engineering graphics, and technical sciences.
