Teachers' and parents' perspectives on collaboration in an inclusive environment for foreign students at a selected school In contemporary educational environments characterized by increasing cultural and linguistic diversity, collaboration between teachers and parents of students with a migrant background represents an important factor in the successful inclusion of children into the school community.Students who enter the Slovenian education system after migrating from another country often face linguistic and cultural barriers; therefore, it is essential that schools and families establish relationships based on collaboration, understanding, and support. The theoretical part of the thesis, based on domestic and international literature, presents the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents of students with a migrant background in an inclusive educational environment, as well as the concept of inclusive education, the roles of teachers and parents, and the factors influencing the quality of collaboration.Particular attention is given to challenges such as language and cultural barriers, differing expectations, and unfamiliarity with the school system, as well as to strategies that can contribute to more effective collaboration. The findings highlight that open and respectful communication, teachers' intercultural competences, and appropriate support from the school and the wider system are essential for the successful inclusion of students with a migrant background. In the empirical part, a quantitative study was conducted to examine the perceptions and evaluations of collaboration between teachers and parents of students with a migrant background in a specific school context. The research focused on the attitudes, experiences, and perceived challenges of both groups, as well as on the factors that facilitate or hinder collaboration. The study contributes to a better understanding of collaboration in practice and provides concrete starting points for the development of a more inclusive school culture.
