This work analyzes the history of the formation of the preschool education system in foreign countries and its current state. The development of preschool education is considered from the point of view of pedagogical principles, educational programs and state policy. During the study, the experiences of Germany, Japan, the USA, Scandinavian countries and other countries are studied and their approaches to preschool education are analyzed. It also highlights how modern educational technologies and innovative methods affect the preschool education system. The work puts forwardproposals for improving the quality of preschool education in Uzbekistan by studying international experiences
