The article analyzes the role of interdisciplinary connections in enhancing cognitive activity during the training of future teachers. The impact of integrating various disciplines on the formation of pedagogical staff's professional competence and the mechanisms for developing students' critical thinking skills are highlighted. Evidence substantiates that organizing education based on an interdisciplinary approach increases educational efficiency and develops cognitive skills for solving real-world problems.
