Annotatsiya
This article examines the methodological support for developing professional competence among future railway employees. The study aims to substantiate a pedagogical model and an integrated set of methodological tools that enhance competence formation in vocational education for railway transport. The research employs theoretical analysis of pedagogical literature, synthesis of competence-based approaches, pedagogical modelling, comparative analysis, and methodological systematization. The findings show that the sequential integration of motivational-diagnostic, informational-cognitive, activity-oriented, and axiological stages ensures the systematic development of professional knowledge, practical skills, safety culture, responsibility, and adaptability. The use of case studies, simulation technologies, problem-based tasks, digital simulators, virtual technical models, laboratory equipment, and electronic learning resources facilitates early adaptation to real production conditions. The study concludes that the proposed methodological support can improve the quality of training competitive, practice-oriented, and highly qualified personnel aligned with labour market requirements in the railway transport sector.
