EXTENDED DELEGATION CONCEPT AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN THE MODELING ARCHITECTURE
Annotatsiya
Delegation, which is a powerful alternative to generalization/specialization in object-oriented modeling and programming, offers a flexible mechanism to reduce redundancy and improve system integrity. This article examines the concept of delegation and suggests an extended framework for its use in both conceptual modeling and implementation. Unlike traditional inheritance-based approaches, delegation increases adaptability by dynamically linking objects and roles. The document provides a detailed analysis of the pitfalls of inheritance, outlines the requirements for effective delegation, and provides recommendations for designing and implementing a prototype in a multi-level modeling environment. The proposed framework illustrates how delegation can eliminate specialization constraints and support dynamic adaptability in object-oriented systems.
