Annotatsiya

The rise of quick commerce has elevated consumer expectations for grocery delivery times from days to minutes, producing one of the most rapid and profound structural transformations. Dark stores sustain 10-30 minutes' delivery promises. This chapter presents a thorough theoretical analysis of how conventional food retailers are being forced to evolve from a store-centric model towards hybrid-fulfillment systems based on dark store hubs. A multifaceted analysis will cover four transformative forces: temporal compression, spatial restructuring, operational decoupling, and technologically driven intensification. A new theoretical construct named Echo Network Framework will be first described in this chapter. A complete architecture will redefine existing dark store interconnectivity into an ‘adaptive citywide nervous system' with capabilities in collective demand measurement, prediction of resource rebuttal, and optimized resilience in real time. Conclusion will highlight strategic necessities in store for conventional food retailers in light of far-from-reversible transformations.
