Designing and Managing Services in Digital Humanities Education

Digital humanities (DH) services require strategic design and management frameworks that integrate pedagogical principles with technological infrastructure. This chapter examines the convergence of user experience design, cultural heritage preservation, and educational innovation in DH service ecosystems. Drawing on systematic literature analysis, it presents comprehensive approaches to designing, implementing, and managing DH services within educational contexts. The chapter addresses critical challenges including multilingual accessibility, AI integration, platform diversity, and sustainable infrastructure development. Key considerations include user-centered design methodologies, evaluation frameworks, and the socio-technical dimensions of DH service provision.
