Thepresentstudywasconductedtoassesstheeffec tofdifferentconcentrationsofsodiumchloride�(N aCl)�inpresence� andabsenceofAMFongrowth,� physiobiochemicalan denzymaticactivityinfababean� ( Vicia faba ).� Different� concentrationsofNaClshowedreductioningrowtha ndyieldparameters,�whichindicatesthedeleteriou seffectsofsalinity� ontheplant.�Thetotalsporecountandcolonizatio nbyarbuscularmycorrhizalfungi�(AMF)�isalsodec reasingathigher� concentrationsofNaCl.�ApplicationofAMFmitigate stheeffectofNaClstressandimprovedthegrowth �andyieldinthe� presentstudy.� NaClalsodecreasedthenodulationa swellasnoduleactivityandpigmentscontent,� how everthe� supplementationofbyAMFtoplantstreatedwithso diumchlorideshowedenhancementinnoduleactivity �andpigment� content.� Polyamines� (Putresciene,� Spermidine,� Sperm ine),� acidandalkalinephosphatesincreasedwithi ncreasing� concentrationofsodiumchlorideandapplicationof �byAMFshowedfurtherincreaseintheabovephytoc onstituents,� provingtheprotectiveroleofthesephytoconstitue ntsagainstsaltstress.�Salinitystressisrespons ibleforthegenerationof� reactiveoxygenspecies,�whichleadtothemembrane �damagethroughlipidperoxidationinthepresents
