Cassini's second and third laws

1966en
ABI

Annotatsiya

It is shown that the second and third laws of Cassini are independent of the first one, at least qualitatively, in the sense that even if the moon's inertial ellipsoid were rotationally symmetric, the second and third laws could still be satisfied since they represent a motion corresponding to the minimum dissipation of energy by internal friction.
