Optimization of many parameters is required for the rational organization of public passenger traffic in urban street networks. One of the most important of these parameters is the interval of public passenger transport. The range of buses is a key parameter that determines its attractiveness as well as its competitiveness among other passenger transport, along with the assessment of the level of quality of its activities. The interval of movement of buses is developed based on data on the flow of passengers. The size of the intervals should be recalculated accordingly as the passenger flow parameters change, but it is not possible to perform this process regularly. For this reason, it is important to improve the method of assessing the effectiveness of intervals on public passenger transport routes. The article analyzes the method of estimating the range of movement of buses moving on public transport routes.
