BH 140 Multi-Survey Validation Package: Gaia DR3 Membership, HST/MGCS Photometry, WINERED Spectroscopy, and Candidate Outer Tidal Structure

BH 140 Centre-Sensitivity Reproducibility Release v2.2.0 This release provides the reproducibility materials for the study: Centre Sensitivity of Gaia DR3 Outer-Anisotropy Diagnostics Around BH 140 The analysis tests whether the apparent outer anisotropy around the Galactic globular cluster BH 140 is robust to the adopted cluster centre. Main scientific result The Gaia DR3 outer-structure signal is strongly centre-sensitive. For the Petralia/recent-literature centre, the outer sample shows strong lopsided and axial anisotropy: N_selected = 4917 N_outer = 492 R1 = 0.7382 R2 = 0.4321 comparable-control false-positive fraction: f_FP(R1) = f_FP(R2) = 1.11 × 10^-5 For the Vasiliev–Baumgardt centre: N_selected = 5180 N_outer = 518 R1 = 0.1039 R2 = 0.0517 f_FP(R1) = 0.01899 f_FP(R2) = 0.54537 The full selected samples overlap strongly (Jaccard index = 0.917), whereas the outer subsets overlap weakly (Jaccard index = 0.198). A 21-step full-reselection centre-path experiment shows that the anisotropy statistics decline smoothly between the two literature centres. Scientific interpretation The apparent BH 140 outer anisotropy is therefore not centre-robust. The present analysis does not support a centre-independent physical extra-tidal or tidal-tail interpretation.
