Forensic Intelligence and Cyber Resilience for Smart Tourism Ecosystems

This chapter presents a Cyber Resilient Smart Tourism Framework that combines digital forensics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and blockchain to improve security, transparency, and trust in online tourism systems. The framework is structured into four layers preventive, detective, responsive, and adaptive each designed to detect, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats efficiently. It shows how AI helps with predicting trends and spotting potential threats, while blockchain keeps evidence safe from tampering and makes everything clear and open. Case studies, including the Collins Aerospace cyberattack and the Italy hotel data breach, demonstrate the framework's real-world applicability. The integration of forensic intelligence with AI and blockchain strengthens data protection, incident response, and cross-domain collaboration among tourism stakeholders. The chapter points out the need for proactive resilience, forensic readiness, and adaptive learning to secure the next generation of smart tourism infrastructures.
