Annotatsiya

The absorbing boundary conditions for the one- and two-dimensional Schr\"odinger equation on a finite interval are considered by using a rational-function approximation for the dispersion relation. The approximation gives good results over a wide range of input parameters. A finite-difference approximation is used to solve the Schr\"odinger equation and the resulting boundary conditions.
