Remark on a family of static relativistic stellar models

A known static relativistic stellar model originally appeared as a member of a family of models, partly characterised by a continuous parameter alpha , which could manifestly be described by elementary functions for special values of alpha . It is now shown that the gravitational potentials of all members of the family can be exhibited as elementary functions of curvature coordinates, i.e. one has an 'elementary' two-parameter family of regular stellar models, the parameters being, say, alpha and beta , where 1/2 beta is the central value of the ratio of the pressure to the energy density. Some numerical results are presented.
