In this work, we study the modified Korteweg–de Vries-sine-Gordon (MKdV-sG) equation. The MKdV-sG equation is integrable subject to specific conditions that relate the parameter of the dispersion term to the parameter of the nonlinear term. Moreover, the MKdV-sG equation describes the propagation of few-cycle-pulse optical solitons in Kerr media. We use the simplified Hirota method to derive multiple soliton solutions.
