Annotatsiya

A $t$-matrix calculation of the ground-state energy of cold neutron matter has been performed and it is shown that neutron matter solidifies at a density of the order of 1.6 \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{15}$ g/${\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$, thus implying the existence of a solid core inside heavy neutron stars.
