Data of thermal video surveys along forested headwater streams in Hokkaido, Japan

Data of a demonstration for the method of mapping groundwater discharge points along forested headwater streams using thermal video. The method was tested at two sites in Hokkaido, Japan. The first survey was performed on August 26, 2020 at Pon-nunobe River in Furano City (43°18′–19′ N, 142°37′–38′ E). The second survey was conducted on July 17, 2021 at Isochibetsu River in Shibecha Town (43°23′ N, 144°39′–40′E).
