Annotatsiya
We present a model incorporating two-level systems which reproduces qualitatively the temperature variation of the specific heat, ionic conductivity and thermal expansion of SrCl2 a superionic chloride. The two level systems may be identified with defect clusters, which have been found stable from static energy calculations and are widely employed to explain successfully recent neutron scattering experiments.
