Analysis of static and dynamic characteristics of a saw cylinder of a gin

Static and dynamic analysis are performed for the main working head of a saw cylinder of a fiber extracting machine for the cotton cleaning industry of Uzbekistan. The investigations were conducted with a computer by the method of finite elements in the form of displacements. The bending moments and critical rotational speeds of the saw cylinder were obtained that allowed us to prevent entering resonance modes and, in doing so, to enhance the reliability and lifetime of machines.
