Substantiation of the parameters of modernized cotton bundle disassembler machine with the working drum with a curved peg and a flexible element

Abstract The article covers the results of research on substantiation of the parameters of the modernized cotton bundle disassembler machine with the working drum with a curved peg and a flexible element. The design scheme and working principle of the machine are described. Recommended values of the parameters because of full factor experiments in the production environment are given. The results of the calculations after processing in the article are presented in the form of connection graphs for raw cotton. In each graph, the first factor is presented at the minimum, the second at the intermediate, and the third at the maximum value. The figures show graphs of the dependence of the seed damage after the UHK unit on the input factors and the graphs of the dependence of the torque on the milling shaft on the input factors.
