We present measurements of the change in the velocity of sound in liquid $^{4}\mathrm{He}$ on the addition of small quantities of $^{3}\mathrm{He}$ for three compositions and three frequencies. It is shown that the change is not strictly linear in $^{3}\mathrm{He}$ concentration and that the nonlinearity may be explained to a large extent if corrections to the $^{3}\mathrm{He}$ effective mass, which arise from the many-body interactions, are included.
