This article explores the literary, translational, and cinematic legacy of Aleksandr Faynberg, a prominent Russian poet, translator, and screenwriter whose creative work developed within the multicultural environment of Uzbekistan. The study examines Faynberg’s poetic heritage, focusing on its philosophical depth, emotional restraint, and extensive use of natural imagery as a means of expressing universal human experiences such as love, separation, memory, and the passage of time. Particular attention is paid to his translation activity, which played a crucial role in introducing Uzbek classical and modern poetry to Russian-speaking audiences and fostering intercultural dialogue between Uzbek and Russian literary traditions. The article also analyzes Faynberg’s contribution to cinema and animation, highlighting his versatility and ability to adapt literary thinking to visual art forms. The research emphasizes Faynberg’s significance as a cultural mediator whose work continues to strengthen literary and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Russia.
