This article examines the role of music in society, its formation, and development during the early medieval period in Central Asia and Uzbekistan. The study analyzes musical practices in religious, social, and cultural life, the role of instrumental and vocal performance, and the transmission of oral traditions across generations. The article highlights the social functions of music, its aesthetic and spiritual significance, and its place in religious and secular ceremonies. The findings provide valuable insights for musicologists, historians, and ethnographers as a source for understanding ancient musical heritage.
