Annotatsiya

The rapid development of additive manufacturing technologies has significantly transformed the field of medical engineering, particularly in the creation of prostheses and implants. Three-dimensional (3D) printing enables the production of patient-specific medical devices with high precision, reduced manufacturing time, and lower costs compared to traditional fabrication methods. This technology allows for the customization of prosthetic limbs, dental implants, orthopedic implants, and craniofacial structures based on individual anatomical data obtained from medical imaging techniques such as CT and MRI. The use of biocompatible materials, including polymers, metals, and ceramics, ensures functional compatibility and long-term integration with human tissues. This article examines the principles, materials, and technological processes involved in creating prostheses and implants using 3D printers, as well as their clinical applications, advantages, and existing challenges. The study highlights the potential of 3D printing to improve patient outcomes and advance personalized medicine.
