This article examines the principal methods for identifying, interpreting, and analyzing implicit meaning in contexts. Implicit meanings are central to literary interpretation, as they enrich the surface narrative and reveal underlying cultural, ideological, and psychological layers. The article reviews linguistic, structural, semiotic, and cognitive approaches, discussing how each method contributes to a deeper understanding of literary subtext. The integration of multiple methodologies is discussed as a way to capture the complexity of implicit meaning.
