Annotatsiya

This article discusses the scientific and practical foundations of obtaining a bioactive supplement (BAS) from the widely available Temirtikon plant as a local raw material and issues related to its standardization. In recent years, there has been increasing demand for products based on biologically active substances derived from natural sources. The Temirtikon plant has traditionally been used in folk medicine as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and general tonic. Its chemical composition includes flavonoids, phenolic compounds, alkaloids, organic acids, and micro- and macroelements. Therefore, a detailed study of this plant, extraction of bioactive supplements, and standardization of quality indicators are of current importance. Within the research framework, processes for harvesting, drying, grinding, and extraction of plant raw material were optimized. A comparison of aqueous and alcoholic extracts was carried out, and the content of active substances was evaluated using spectrophotometric methods. Based on the obtained extract, a capsule-form bioactive supplement was developed. The physicochemical, microbiological, and toxicological parameters of the product were analyzed. During standardization, total flavonoid content was selected as the main marker compound. Additionally, moisture content, ash content, heavy metals, and microbiological purity criteria were established. The results demonstrated that the Temirtikon-based bioactive supplement met the required quality and safety standards. The findings are significant for the efficient use of local medicinal plants, creation of import-substituting products, and development of the pharmaceutical industry. This research provides a scientific basis for industrial-scale production of bioactive supplements derived from the Temirtikon plant.
