This article examines the pedagogical and psychological essence of the concept of logical thinking based on existing scientific views in Uzbek pedagogy. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations, methodological approaches, and an effective system of exercises aimed at developing logical thinking in primary school mother tongue lessons. As a result of the analysis of scientific literature, it is substantiated that logical thinking is an important factor in students’ speech and cognitive development. The findings of the research contribute to improving the effectiveness of mother tongue lessons in primary education practice.
