Complications remain relatively infrequent, typically involving minor issues such as asymmetry or scarring in fewer than seven percent of cases, though more serious events requiring revision occur in approximately five to six percent. The literature underscores the critical role of thorough preoperative counseling, precise anatomical knowledge, and selection of appropriate surgical methods to optimize results while minimizing risks.
