Justification of parameters and operating modes of an elevator with combined rods

Abstract Modern potato harvesters provide the required performance indicators under favorable operating conditions. Under unfavorable conditions, the completeness of separation of tubers from impurities decreases, and losses and damage to potato tubers increase. This situation is associated with the imperfection of the separating working parts of the potato digger. As a result, the productivity of potato diggers is generally determined by the throughput of their separating working bodies. Currently, rod elevators are most widespread and used. Therefore, increasing the efficiency and quality of work of the separating working parts of a potato digger is an urgent scientific and technical task.
