This article examines current trends in the development of women's university sports in higher education. It analyzes the pedagogical, social, and organizational factors influencing female students' involvement in sports. The main barriers and motivational mechanisms for female students' participation in university sports programs are identified. A comparative analysis of physical activity indicators and the motivational structure of female students reveals the specific features of the training process. The study's results confirm the need to implement gender-sensitive teaching methods, modernize infrastructure, and improve the system of student sports competitions. Practical recommendations for improving the development of women's university sports are offered.
