IoT based solar monitoring system for smart city: an investigational study

Nowadays, there has been a rise in demand for solar devices because it is affordable renewable energy. This paper describes a solar remote monitoring system using a solar photovoltaic (PV) Power Conditioning Unit (PCU). To solve problems such as maintenance, a management problem, mean time to repair the system can be located in solar PV PCU. We are designing an intelligent remote monitoring system based on IoT for tracking the solar PV PCU parameters. We have installed remote monitoring for solar PV PCU using embedded system gateway, GPRS network, host, and other elements through the Internet. The system can manipulate data and can monitor and store from solar Photo Voltaic Power Conditioning Unit are shown in the result.
