The service sector is a critical component of socio-economic development in rural areas, influencing both the quality of life and local economic growth. Despite global and national attention, rural services often remain inefficient due to limited resources, poor infrastructure, and inadequate management practices. This article examines theoretical frameworks and approaches for enhancing efficiency and service quality in rural regions, emphasizing organizational, technological, and human capital factors. By analyzing contemporary studies and statistical data from Uzbekistan and comparable countries, strategies for optimizing service delivery and increasing accessibility are highlighted. Key theoretical models such as the service value chain, resource-based view, and quality management approaches are applied to rural contexts, identifying the primary drivers and barriers to service improvement. The study concludes that integrating modern management techniques, digitalization, and targeted investment in human resources are essential for sustainable development of rural services.
